Mike was absolutely fantastic! From the very first lesson he made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. His teaching style was clear and patient, which really helped me understand the rules of the road and improve my driving skills. He tailored each lesson to focus on the areas where I needed more practice, and always provided constructive feedback that made a real difference. I appreciate how he kept things positive and encouraged me to stay calm, especially when I was feeling nervous for my test. I couldn’t have passed my test without Mike, and passing first time was the bonus on top! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor!

I had a great experience learning how to drive with Mike. I was really struggling with my confidence when I first started, and Mike enabled me to not only be confident when driving, but I was excited for every upcoming lesson as I was getting better every time. Mike was an amazing driving instructor who was super helpful. If I struggled, he was very patient when learning. He was also so kind and made sure I was ready to pass my test. He is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune your areas of weakness. I really feel like I won the learner driver lottery with Mike. I liked him instantly and really enjoyed every one of my lessons. I think the best thing about his teaching style is that he never makes you feel bad for making a mistake, he encourages you to reflect upon a manoeuvre or a circuit and suggest how it might go better next time. Its a very clever teaching strategy, I should know ive been a teacher for 26 years!

I passed my test with only 3 driver faults thanks to having Mike as my instructor. Despite having no experience and being scared about the thought of driving, Mike was always very patient and willing to take things at a pace that worked for me, Whilst also being encouraging and building my confidence greatly. The lessons were structured to ensure almost perfection for each step before moving on to the next subject. Excellent driving instructor and very professional, I could not recommend him more highly!

Mike was a fantastic instructor. He is friendly, kind and patient. He will allow you to go at your own pace in your driving journey. He lets you decide when you are ready to move on with different aspects of your driving to make sure you are comfortable with what you are doing. If you have an off day or a wobble, he is so patient and will make sure you are 100% ok before carrying on the lesson. I enjoyed my driving experience and had no issues with Mike as my instructor. Thank you so much for all your help! 100 % recommend him as a driving instructor!

Mike is a fantastic driving instructor! I have had 5 instructors In total and he was by far the best! He is very friendly, calm, understanding and friendly to talk to. He always put me at ease as I was a nervous driver. Mike taught me everything I needed to know and I passed first time. I am very grateful to have had him teach me. At one point before meeting him, I never thought I would ever pass. He gave me the confidence I needed. I highly recommend him!

From day one, my confidence kept growing with Mikes teaching. I had full reassurance behind the wheel and was confident of learning from my mistakes because of his constructive criticism, but also had positive comments. I never had a sense of dread for my lessons and was keen to do more in the future. The lessons were never a drag and consisted of patient assessment that helped my confidence. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to pass their theory and practical tests in the most efficient way.

Mike is more than an amazing instructor. You’d expect instructors to be scary, strict and very harsh on you making minor mistakes. Mike is not like that, his simple-to-understand lessons destroy your nerves of driving as a beginner, and if you make mistakes, he won’t bash you about it! I actually had to do 6 mock tests consecutively and I was able to pass them all thanks to Mikes teaching:) I did make a few minor driving faults but he only reminded me that they were “simple teething problems” that were easy to fix, in which I only got 3 minor faults in the real test! Mike is an amazing person to talk to as well, making you feel like one of your lifetime friends! The only regret you will get after passing your test will be due to not being able to have fun chats as often.

As Mikes first pass of 2024 and first in his brand new car, there isn’t much I can say about Mike to explain how passing my test has changed my life! He is friendly and down to earth. He explains everything clearly and is very patient. If there is something you are struggling with, he will make time to cover that more until you are more comfortable doing it. All in all a top guy and top driving instructor!

I can’t recommend Mike highly enough as a driving instructor. As someone who started out as an extremely anxious driver, Mike completley changed my perspective on driving and how possible it could be for me to pass and get out there myself! Through his patience and calm attitude towards my learning, he made me feel completely at ease behind the wheel of a car. Mike is fantastic in fine tuning your driving and focusing on key areas for development. He lets you take lessons at your own pace and doesn’t dictate how a lesson should unfold. He leaves it completely up to you and doesn’t chuck you in at the deep end. For anyone out there who is potentially anxious or scared about driving in general, Mike is definitely the instructor for you. I could not have become the driver I am without him. Mike has been amazing, his skills are second to none and he has helped me build the confidence and ability to go out on the roads by myself safely. I can’t recommend Mike enough if you are looking to get started with driving lessons. He doesn’t throw you in at the deep end, but structures the lessons to ensure you are confident in the basics before moving onto more advanced manoeuvres and skills needed to pass your test. He is friendly, professional and never makes you feel pressured. I looked forward to each of my lessons and always walked away knowing I had learnt something that will benefit me once I gained my license. Thank you for all your support Mike! Prior to me getting back to driving, it was something that weighed on me a lot. I felt the pressure of passing my test. When I first met Mike, the weight was lifted and I no longer felt the pressure of taking to the wheel again. I couldn’t tell you how many hours I spent on lessons, but never did a lesson feel wasted. I couldn’t think of a better instructor to have. If you are considering Mike as your instructor, then look no further!

Where do I start? I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Mike. I had some previous experience (with a not so great instructor) but many years before messaging Mike to start lessons, I was a little apprehensive to get back to it. They say “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” but from the very first chat with Mike, he was confident enough for us both and from that point I had zero doubt he would be the man to get me over the line! An absolute top bloke, super flexible with his calendar and a really relaxed, supportive and professional teaching style. Thank you Mike, I couldn’t have done it without you!
